QS1 Studio started as a place of research and exploration for the world of acoustics and sound, and everything that comes with it. We're a hands-on team that is invested in building things that last.
From physical entities like the rooms and spaces we build, to the relationships we form with the people we meet along the way: we value the outcome. We value projects small and large, and challenge ourselves, to achieve the best work possible.
In 2018 we started our first studio, converting an old industrial space into a multi room music studio complex comprising a live room, and a control room. This hands on approach quickly taught us how to further improve our acoustics treatment we were building at the time, as we were constantly able to fine tune.
This work in acoustics and the pursuit of good sound, made us dive into the field further and start supplying solutions for studios in Berlin within our network. Fast forward to 2022 we embarked on our most ambitious step in our journey, and opened a new space with over 12 music studios and a dedicated photography space.
Expanding our team where necessary along the way was always how we progressed into the next phase of work we were able to deliver. For us this is vital to who we are and how we work.

Our Services
Consulting
Clarity around sound and space. We advise on requirements, possibilities, and trade-offs—helping define what makes sense for a space, its use, and its constraints. The goal is to create a solid foundation for informed decisions.
Acoustic Concepts
Development of holistic acoustic concepts that define how sound should behave in a space. This includes spatial strategy, material direction, and integration into architecture and interior design, ensuring sound and space are considered as one.
Custom Solutions
Design and fabrication of acoustic solutions—from integrated installations to bespoke furniture and objects. Whether subtle interventions or defining elements, custom solutions allow acoustic performance to become a natural part of the space.
Installation
Execution of acoustic solutions from start to finish. This includes structural work, drywalling, electrical integration, and on-site coordination through to final installation and fine-tuning. Covering both heavy construction and detailed finishing ensures concepts are implemented accurately and perform as intended.
